Hi Heidi, I’m a therapist in Berkeley CA… I just wanted to mention one thing. I was dealing with my own recovery when I came upon the first book on focusing and somatic therapy by Eugene Gendlin and his book “Focusing” from 1980. Everything that Peter Levine has done has come from Eugene Gendlin except now it’s called somatic experiencing. I’m 71 and have been a counselor and therapist for 36 years. Not giving credit to Eugene Gendlin would be like doing therapy without citing Carl Jung. Thanks, best wishes, Michael
